By delving into the origin, nature and effects of play behavior, this
workshop explores the newly emergent science of play. A review of
its many benefits such as emotional resiliency, adaptability, optimism,
innovation, perseverance, relational stability, cognitive excellence
and more will be placed in perspective. How each individual may
access deeper talents and greater happiness and fulfillment through
renewed recognition of their own "personal play personality" will also
be reviewed.
Participants will explore:
How Nature is essentially playful and how we are built for lifelong
play
What play is and is not, and the consequences of play deprivation
The role of play in Nature and how play is essential to a joyful,
creative life
The various play personalities and their characteristics
