Professor Ann Sanson (PhD, FAPS) is a developmental psychologist whose research expertise is in longitudinal studies of child and adolescent social and emotional development, health and wellbeing. She is Principal Scientific Advisor to the Longitudinal Study of Australian Children, and a principal investigator on the Australian Temperament Project, an ongoing 28-year longitudinal study. She also advises national longitudinal studies in Norway, New Zealand and Ireland, and is on the Steering Committee for the Longitudinal Study of Indigenous Children. She has over 180 publications.
