Wednesday 31 October: Post-conference workshop 4: Bodies in space explore! Tapping spatial memory to be happy, healthy and smart!

We live in exciting times! The science of neuroplasticity has changed the way we now think about the art of learning, attention and self-mastery. In this workshop, Dr. G. will introduce two sensory skills - spatial memory mapping and spatial attention training - along with the neurological foundations that address attention, memory and cognitive development.

The goal of the workshop is 1) to inspire participants to start tapping spatial awareness - a key feature of brain and cognitive development and 2) raise awareness of “brain games” designed to entertain and tap the neuroplastic potential to grow new spatial attention and memory networks.

Participants will leave empowered with a new developmental and systemic understanding of how and why growing spatial memory matters now!

Required of workshop participants:

1. Willingness to sign onto an online site for workshop practice
2. iPad or laptop
3. Paper and pencil.
